Mengenal DSLAM Zyxel IES 1000


DSLAM IES-1000 Zyxel

IES-1000 adalah switch Ethernet yang terintegrasi yang memungkinkan untuk me-multipleks data hingga 16 lines G. SHDSL atau ADSL traffic ke jaringan Ethernet menggunakan kabel saluran telepon yg ada sebelum diteruskan ke Internet. 

Bahkan dapat menggabungkan hingga 8 G. SHDSL dan 8 ADSL Lines. Ketika digunakan bersama dengan modem DSL ZyXEL dan WAN router, kombinasinya dapat membentuk solusi terpadu untuk menyediakan layanan broadband untuk beberapa unit seperti apartemen, hotel, kantor dan bangunan kampus.

G. SHDSL adalah singkatan dari Single-pair High-speed Digital Subscriber Line. "G." dalam "SHDSL" didefinisikan oleh ITU-T G.991.2. ADSL adalah singkatan dari Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line.

IES-1000 adalah versi pizza box  dari IP-based multi-service access node (MSAN). Perangkat tersebut memiliki 2 slot untuk berbagai macam variasi dari DSL dan VoIP line modules untuk menyediakan layanan ADSL2+, G.SHDSL dan VoIP untuk pelanggan rumahan dan pelanggan bisnis. Perangkat tersebut menterminasi trafik ATM dari koneksi DSL dan POTS voice signals untuk membuatnya menjadi paket IP dan me-routingkannya melalui jaringan IP.
